Since graduating from DePauw University, I’ve evolved into a seasoned professional adept at shaping brand identities. 

My professional career truly began at examiner.com, a news media site with thousands of citizen journalists. Over the course of a few years, I worked my way up from an entry-level position to the site’s Senior Editor, where I led a team of 10 in-house writers and fielded submissions from hundreds of freelance contributors. In this role, I also safeguarded examiner.com’s reputation with Google News. This task saw me become intimately familiar with Google’s best practices, a knowledge base I have continued to develop in the intervening years.

As a freelance creative professional, I refined my abilities copywriting and editing. During this time, I also developed new skills in graphic design, video editing, and motion graphics. This phase allowed me to develop a holistic approach to storytelling and brand development, culminating in my pivotal role at Record Options Investing.

Here, I immersed myself in every facet of the business. I defined the brand’s voice and aesthetic, crafted engaging social media content, spearheaded the development of a 39-video investing educational course, and produced compelling long-form ad videos.
